GISMA Business School in Hannover, Germany, was launched in 1999 as a joint initiative by the state of Lower Saxony and visionary private-sector enterprises. GISMA is a privately funded, self-administering institution of higher education. Our internationally recognized MBA degrees can be pursued either full time (in 11 months) or part time (in 22 months) the latter program being designed to meet the needs of executives wishing to study without taking a career break.

GISMA Business School is closely affiliated with the Krannert School of Management at Purdue University (Indiana, USA). 1. MBA program (full time)
11-month course of study in Hannover for young management professionals from around the world who hold a college degree and have already had some job experience. The average age of GISMA students is 28. With its distinctly real-world approach, GISMAs MBA program excels at preparing graduates for the challenges of an increasingly global, highly dynamic marketplace. The learning environment is characterized by a pronounced spirit of teamwork among young people from a great variety of cultural, educational and professional backgrounds.
2. Executive MBA program (part time)
Our International Masters in Management Program (IMM) is designed for managerial professionals that have typically worked for an average of ten years, and takes 22 months to complete. Thanks to its concentrated phases of learning, this program is set up in such a way as to enable participants to strike a healthy balance between work, family and study.
3. Ongoing education
Drawing on its rich resources as a business school, GISMA also offers tailor-made courses for managerial staff who could benefit from a knowledge upgrade or wish to advance their careers. For maximum topical relevance and benefit, these courses are shaped around actual company issues, challenges and objectives.Among the topic clusters addressed are leadership, strategy building, change and risk management and intercultural management.
